Meet Kakamega Member Of Parliament Who Has Ventured In Education The Most.

Hon. Fred Ikana, member of parliament for Shinyalu Constituency in Kakamega County is one of the Mp’s among the Two hundred and Ninety in the Country who have put up their efforts in ensuring that Pupils and Students attain their education while in a very conducive environment.

Speaking while at Ivakale primary and Junior Secondary school where he Commissioned a JSS storey tuition block hosting 8 classrooms, he explained to Kakamega Journalists that he’s aim is to ensure Shinyalu becomes a constituency with high learned individuals especially enrolled in the field of medicine.

“Kakamega County has always faced shortage of Doctors. This has resulted into importation of doctors from other Counties yet our own Children can fill the positions.I therefore urge parents to keep in use of the education buildings am putting up in Shinyalu so as we help one another in achieving our education goals”, advised Hon. Fred Ikana.

Additionally, he alluded that more than 13 schools are still under construction process and five of them are fully completed.

Hon. Ikana Consequently disclosed that through his efforts and commitments,he will complete school projects.

“We want these students to be committed in learning and pass KCSE exams”, Ikana stated.

The Shinyalu Poverty fighter expressed gratitude to his counterparts including Lugari MP Nabii Nabwera, Lurambi MP Titus Khamala, Khwisero MP Christopher Aseka, Matungu MP Peter Oscar Nabulindo, Kakamega Woman Representative Elsie Muhanda and many religious leaders for their great support in developing schools.

He further added that Shinyalu was left behind in the development agenda for many years and through his development plan every stone will be turned to the Maximum.

Finally, he Congratulated Hon. Bernard Shinali  Ikolomani MP who’s also a follower of the Salvation Army for strongly supporting development in schools, promising to lead by his example so that Shinyalu Keeps moving forward.
